What do you think should be the theme for Blog Action Day 2013?

Each year, the Blog Action Day team ask our community (Blog Action Day supporters, participants and partners) for their suggestions and ideas for what the theme should be for the upcoming Blog Action Day event.

Our special Facebook poll for the 2013 Blog Action Day event closes on April 30 so make sure you add your voice, and vote for your favourite idea  - you can even suggest your own if it doesn’t appear.

When the poll finishes the team running Blog Action Day, spend a few days deciding what the best theme would be based on your suggestions and poll results.

We will be announcing the official Blog Action Day theme on May 2, come back to our  tumblr feed  find out what it is.

I think Coal Seam Gas fracking is the most important issue facing Australia at present. I know it is of concern in other countries too. Rural Australia feels so strongly against this practice which is so dangerous to our land and water that an organisation called Lock the Gate Alliance Inc. has been formed and has gained widespread support around the nation. The name refers to the fact that mining companies have had the right to come onto people’s properties, explore, and sink wells without having to gain the owners’ permission — as detailed in this 60 Minutes report.
